Alex seemed very knowledgeable. Their flat rate for most jobs of $60 is very straightforward. I brought my own parts in and they did the dirty work! Went beyond just installing the parts by giving my laptop a once over. It's running much cooler than before. I would recommend them! Tried to have a printer fixed at their competitor last year and it was less than pleasant. I'm sticking with these guys. Already brought them a computer from work to fix. Thanks!
One star is being ticked here only because I can't give them a negative! Brought a laptop in due to no WIFI after a restore. Mind you this laptop worked perfectly when connected with a CAT5 cable. Was told the hard drive was bad and would need to be replaced ... cost $118.00. The customer told them to go ahead an replace it, HOWEVER ... was charged $189 and change at time of pick-up and the tech notes stated that after re-seating the WIFI card that WIFI was restored. He replaced the 1TB hard drive with a 250GB HD and didn't tell the customer! VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE !!! NOT TELLING A CUSTOMER THE INVOICE TOTAL UP FRONT BEFORE THEY WALK THROUGH THE DOOR ... DEFINITELY A BIG NO NO ... BAIT AND SWITCH. AND TO HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM, i.e.; "No WIFI" and went beyond that repair leads me to believe that business is so slow that they needed to generate some cash flow. Condescending attitude from "Alex" towards customers speaks volumes about this company. Spend your hard earned cash somewhere else! Scammers!
