My stay with AmericInn in Ironwood, Michigan was awesome. I was waited on by the General Manager March Thomas, who was very polite and accommodating. The room was very clean. The lobby was very clean and inviting. Fresh hot breakfast in the morning. I am very pleased with this location. GREAT JOB!!!
The cleaning staff does a great job. No complaints about the cleanliness. I actually caught the front desk clerk on her knees wiping down the bottoms of the chairs and under the tables in the lounge area. Breakfast was normal for a complimentary breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc.
The place does not support the military as well.
The view from the front (not of the hotel itself but of the nearby homes) isn't the best but the hotel was clean and up to date in appearance.
Front desk staff was very helpful in choosing the rooms and guiding us toward our destinations. Room 101 was huge with a king bed and pull out sofa. It was very spacious with a huge table that 6 of us played cards on with plenty of room to spare. Room 103 was a nice sized room with two queen beds.
This place is awful. They over charge you ($164) per night. Be careful because once you book your room, they do not let you cancel and will charge you anyways even if you picked the wrong city by accident. Like every town in the UP doesn’t start with Iron.
I was really happy with my experience here. I traveled from Minneapolis, my room was clean, all appliances and fixtures we're in excellent working order. The staff was friend and helpful.
Extremely clean and well taken care of hotel. We stayed in a whirlpool suite and it was amazing. Fridge and microwave in the room. King bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was great as well..many choices! One of the best places we have stayed and very affordable too!
And! It was quiet!!!
