If you don't own a Stormy Kromer hat.....you should get one! Heard about them from an RVing neighbor. Went to the factory. Took the tour, and was pleased that the owner was the one who gave it (not normally the case). What an awesome tour and history of the company. Started in 1903, by, who else? Stormy Kromer himself. Everything is USA made. Oh, and they make more than hats: gloves, shirts, pullovers, coats. Lots, and lots of wool products. I'll be warm this winter!!!!
Stormy Kromer is the original wool baseball cap with ear flaps. If you live up north and don't have one of these, your life is not as good as it could be. Pro tip: If you can afford a pair of their wool-lined choppers, get some. I found some on the clearance table at the factory, and I never thought twice.
I would highly recommend going on their factory tour. I didn't know what to expect but it was well worth our drive to take the tour. They took you through the whole factory and showed you how their products are made starting from the patterns to the finished product. It was an interesting and educational experience. Seeing how well made their products are, as well as having a lifetime guarantee, and being a USA company makes their merchandise well worth the price. We will definitely be returning customers.
Used to stop here for their bargain bin. The only way some can shop these quality products. However just wanted to let one an all know their bargain bin is now 40 bucks! Sorry Kromer.
